Lenga Beech is a South American wood, also called Tierra del Fuego cherry or oak. The color is light, slightly pinkish, with a drawing vein similar to cherry, but it darkens with exposure to light, turning to amber or light reddish brown. The texture is smooth and shiny, similar to black cherry.

It is very easy to work with and does not cause any problems with gluing or finishing.

It is mainly used for the manufacture of furniture and moldings, being used with some frequency as an economical substitute for American black cherry.
