Idigbo wood is creamy-yellow in color, similar in appearance to samba or koto although the grain is more visible. It is easy to work with and machine, and accepts finishes without any problem.

It is mainly used for making furniture and interior carpentry.

Framire has a natural yellow coloring and is more acidic than most woods. In contact with wet surfaces it can leave a yellow coloration, and it can also develop dark spots if it is in direct contact with iron.
