Light colored wood with and uniform grain, very resistant to impacts and therefore widely used, for example, for flooring, tool handles or baseball bats.

The texture is a bit marked, similar to white oak - in fact when applying pigments it looks very similar to oak.

It works very easily with manual tools or with a machine, and does not present any type of problem for the finish. On the other hand, it has very little resistance to humidity and insects.
