Wenge wood has an impressive color, between dark brown, black and even bluish, which makes it one of the most striking for making furniture, boxes or floors.

It is a hard and heavy wood, but easy to work with and pleasant to the touch.

We recommend the use of protection whenever you work with wood. Wenge sawdust is much more toxic than that of traditional woods, so it is essential to wear a mask.

Also, wounds from wenge splinters tend to take longer than normal to heal and become infected more easily than other injuries, so it's a good idea to wear gloves when moving raw boards.
