One of the most used woods in the world for furniture and cabinets. It is very easy to work with, both by hand and by machine, and can be used for almost any application, from high-quality furniture to lathes, boxes, carvings, plates or small parts.

Its texture is especially soft and pleasant to the touch.

The color is a deep reddish-golden brown, which gets deeper over the years. It is particularly affected by sunlight, and pieces made from cherry wood are often exposed to direct sun for a few hours to achieve that nice darker shade with which we identify cherry.

Accepts almost any finish, but those that naturally accentuate the tone and texture of this wood are usually preferred, such as a combination of linseed oil and shellac.
